We started with a tour of Christchurch, stopping at: Cathedral Square, Cardboard Cathedral, 185 Empty Chair Memorial (earthquake victims), 9/11 Memorial, Mona Vale Garden Park, and the Botanical Garden.

We also stopped at the Botanic Garden – the home of the Curator’s House.

We rode up the Christchurch Gondola and had lunch.

After lunch, several of us went Punting on the Avon.
