Today we went downtown and walked around a bit before taking a tour of Teatro Colón.

Construction on the Opera house began in 1889 and was completed in 1908. The tour took us through the main lobby, some smaller rooms and into the president’s box where we watch part of a rehearsal for Swan Lake.

We ate lunch and then toured part of the city on a hop-on hop-off bus.

We hopped off in the La Boca district and visited Caminito – a brick-and-mortar Etsy.

We hopped on and rode to the stop closest to the apartment.
