Meetup group got an early start back at Mission Trails Park. We started our ascent of Cowles Mountain just after sunrise and the marine layer provided some protection as well as some cool views.

The hike to Pyles Peak doubles the length and is much less busy.

The marine layer burned off here, but not along the coast.
