My morning walk was with a Meetup group at Liberty Station (the old Naval Training Station).

The 52 Boats Memorial honors 3500 American submariners lost in World War II. Two walkways are lined with markers and an American Elm tree for each submarine.

I ended the day with a walk in Balboa Park with Frontrunners. The tail end of a thunderstorm passed over just before the walk.
