There are fires north of us and we’re getting a lot of smoke. But, Coimbra is a lovely, old city.

Our condo is in a new building in the old part of town.

After breakfast we walked through the neighborhood.

Then walked along the Mondego River.

We walked back through a commercial area and stumbled upon the Monastery of Santa Cruz.

After naps we ventured back out into the old section of town.
