My time today was mostly spent on installing furring strips (battens) on the front of the duplex. Other team members added insulation on the west side of the building, some siding on the front and worked on the staircase in the west unit.




I worked on the second story and the gable peak – at least I had a view. Battens create an air gap to prevent moisture from damaging the siding.






The shifts are only four hours, so sometimes the results are not as noticeable.
